"Jugaad – frugal innovation in India" is a brand
new report describing the methods and the mindset which companies and
organizations in India use to create low cost solutions under very scarce
circumstances.
It's based on my recent trip around India.
The report argues that some of these methods could well be
transferred and used by Western companies.
There are many indications that the market will demand lower
priced solutions, and for Western designer and engineers, the Indian approach
could be an inspiration and a challenge to our usual way of developing new
products.
